--- Our Perspective

Planning is not the same conversation as Strategy.

Most physicians have a tax relationship built around a single question each year: what is owed. Elite Tax exists for a different question, asked well before any filing deadline — what strategies are available, and how might they fit a career that spans employment, ownership, call coverage, and eventually transition.

This is not a substitute for the work your CPA already does well. It is a forward-looking layer of legal and strategic analysis, coordinated alongside your existing advisors, focused on structure and timing rather than any single return.

Tax Preparation

Reactive & Annual

Looks backward at the year that has already happened. Focused on accurate filing, compliance, and meeting deadlines.

Tax Planning

Forward & Strategic

Looks ahead at decisions still to be made. Focused on structure, timing, and coordination across entities and years.

Two disciplines, working in coordination

--- What We Do

Services built around your practice, not a single filing.

Each engagement begins with your circumstances, not a template. Below are the areas where our attorneys, CPAs, and planning professionals most often work with physicians.

01

Advanced Tax Planning

Forward-looking strategy that evaluates available elections, timing, and structuring opportunities based on your specific income profile — W-2, 1099, partnership distributions, or a combination.

02

Practice & Entity Strategy

Evaluation of practice structure, ownership design, partnership buy-in terms, and ancillary revenue arrangements as your career evolves.

03

Estate, Titling & Wealth Transfer

Coordinated planning for how personal and practice assets are held, protected, and eventually transferred across generations — aligned with your broader goals.

04

Coordinated Advisory Support

Ongoing collaboration with your existing CPA, financial advisor, and legal counsel to keep every strategy aligned.

--- The Elite Tax Approach

A deliberate process, in three parts.

Every engagement follows the same disciplined sequence, regardless of how straightforward or complex the circumstances.

Understand Your Situation

We begin with a thorough review of your compensation, practice interests, and objectives — without assumptions about what should come next.

Evaluate Available Strategies

Our attorneys and CPAs assess which structures and elections are genuinely relevant to your circumstances.

Coordinate a Strategic Plan

We bring the plan together with your existing advisors, so every recommendation is aligned and actionable.

Khaled Alatyieh, CPA

Why I Help Physicians Save More, Keep More, and Build Lasting Wealth When I became a CPA, I figured the job was pretty straightforward. Prepare accurate returns, keep clients compliant, file everything on time. Get those things right and you've done right by your clients.
It took me a while to realize that wasn't the whole job. It wasn't even the important part.

I've spent more than fifteen years working with high-income professionals, and physicians most of all. I've now sat across the table from hundreds of them. And somewhere along the way I noticed the same pattern showing up again and again. These were brilliant people. They'd given up their twenties to training, built successful practices, and were earning real money. But almost none of them had ever been taught how to actually keep it.

They were overpaying on their taxes, sometimes badly, and it wasn't their fault. Nobody had ever shown them there was another way to do it. Year after year they were handed tax preparation when what they really needed was tax strategy. Those two things sound similar. They are not the same, and the gap between them can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The moment this really hit home for me was the day a pediatrician came into my office.

He was in the middle of buying another practice. On paper it was a great opportunity, but he didn't look like a man who'd just found a great opportunity. He looked stressed. He didn't know where to start. He wasn't sure what entity structure made sense, how to finance the purchase the smart way, or what the whole thing was going to do to his taxes and his long-term plans. He'd spent his career mastering medicine, and now he was staring at a business decision with nobody in his corner who could tie the financial, tax, and business side of it all together.

So we didn't open a spreadsheet. The first thing I asked him was what he actually wanted, for himself and for his family.

That one question changed the entire conversation. Instead of just reacting to the deal, we built a plan around it. We set up an entity structure that fit both the practice he was growing and the life he was trying to build. We put his tax strategy in place before the acquisition closed, while it could still make a difference, not after, when the moment had already passed. We found legal, IRS-compliant ways to bring his tax bill down that no one had ever bothered to mention to him. And we lined all of it up with where he wanted his family to be years down the road.

By the end of that meeting he wasn't stressed anymore. He was confident. And watching that shift happen, right there at my table, reminded me exactly why I do this.

My job was never really about preparing returns. My job is helping physicians make smart financial decisions, so they keep more of what they earn, grow their practices without second-guessing themselves, and build wealth that outlasts them.

Tax preparation looks backward. It tells you what already happened, after there's nothing left to change. Tax strategy looks forward, and it actually shapes what happens next. Too many physicians spend an entire career getting the first one when they needed the second one all along.

These days I work with physicians at every stage. Starting a practice, buying one, expanding, getting into real estate, planning for retirement. Over the past fifteen-plus years, the proactive strategies I've put in place have saved my clients hundreds of thousands of dollars, money they've been able to reinvest, grow, and pass on to the people they care about.

I do this because physicians shouldn't have to figure out the business side of their success alone. You spent your life taking care of other people. Let me take care of your financial future.

My mission is simple. Help physicians legally lower their taxes, make smarter financial decisions, and build generational wealth through planning that gets ahead of the problem instead of cleaning up after it.

What physicians say after working with us.

A few reflections from practice owners, employed physicians, and specialists we've had the privilege of advising.

I assumed our CPA was already doing everything possible. The planning session showed us there were strategies we simply weren’t using. It was well worth the investment.

Dr. Michael R.

Orthopedic Surgery • Texas

The biggest win for me wasn’t just reducing taxes. It was having a long-term plan instead of making decisions one year at a time.

Dr. Sarah W.

Dermatology • Florida

Everything was organized, well documented, and easy to implement with our existing CPA. That made the process much smoother than I expected.

Dr. James T.

Cardiology • North Carolina

We’ve worked with accountants for years, but this was the first time someone actually sat down and built a tax strategy around our practice.

Dr. Emily C.

Family Medicine • Ohio

The recommendations were practical, conservative, and clearly explained. Nothing felt overly aggressive or difficult to execute.

Dr. David L.

Anesthesiology • Arizona

I appreciated that every recommendation came with an explanation of why it worked and how it fit into our overall financial picture.

Dr. Jennifer M.

Plastic Surgery • California

The process gave us clarity. We now understand which strategies make sense for our income and practice vs which ones don’t.

Dr. Brian H.

Emergency Medicine • Tennessee

The planning helped us think about taxes as part of our business strategy rather than something we only dealt with every April

Dr. Amanda P.

Pediatrics • Georgia

Looking back, we probably waited longer than we should have. I only wish we’d started this planning process a few years earlier. Wow

Ophthalmology • Illinois
